Description
Sardinia and Corsica are two islands that every avid sailor should visit at least once in their life. The bays in the La Maddalena archipelago at the northern end of Sardinia or the port of Bonifacio in southern Corsica are some of the absolute highlights for us that can be experienced on a sailing yacht! Even if some people may still be missing the coconut palm trees for the perfect postcard idyll - the water around la Maddalena is clearer and more turquoise than in the Caribbean.
The Costa Smeralda of Sardinia has long been known as a hotspot for the rich and famous, and property prices there are among the highest in Europe. Most of the time you don't notice much of the whole spectacle on your sailing yacht, even if you rarely have the most beautiful bays to yourself, at least during the day. You will also come across some really impressive luxury yachts at sea while sailing there.
